1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Velora Studio website and the services we provide. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Services

Velora Studio offers web design, digital marketing, SEO, and social media management services. The specific scope of work for each project will be outlined in a separate proposal or agreement provided to the client before work commences.

3. Quotes & Proposals

All quotes provided by Velora Studio are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. A quote does not constitute a binding agreement until both parties have confirmed in writing (email confirmation is accepted) and a deposit has been received where applicable.

4. Payment Terms

• A deposit of 50% of the total project fee is required before work commences
• The remaining balance is due upon project completion, before final files or live access are handed over
• Ongoing service fees (e.g. social media management, SEO retainers) are billed monthly in advance
• Late payments may result in work being paused until the outstanding balance is settled
• All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise

5. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

• Provide all required content, assets, and information in a timely manner
• Review and provide feedback within agreed timeframes
• Ensure all content provided is owned by them or they have the rights to use it
• Appoint a single point of contact for project communication

Delays caused by the client may result in revised timelines and, where significant, additional costs.

6. Revisions

Each project includes a reasonable number of revisions as outlined in the project proposal. Revisions beyond the agreed scope may be charged at our standard hourly rate. Major changes to the project brief after work has commenced may be treated as a new scope of work.

7. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, the client receives full ownership of the final deliverables created specifically for their project. Velora Studio retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Any third-party assets (stock images, fonts, plugins, etc.) remain subject to their respective licences and are the client's responsibility to maintain.

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive business information shared during the project. This obligation continues after the project ends.

9. Cancellations

If a client cancels a project after work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable. If more than 50% of the project has been completed, the full project fee may be due. Cancellations must be submitted in writing.

10. Limitation of Liability

Velora Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability to any client shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific project in question.

We do not guarantee specific results from digital marketing or SEO campaigns, as outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

11. Website Use

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not use our website in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations, or in any way that is fraudulent or harmful.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
